Submissions FOR our ANNUAL 10X10 PLAY FESTIVAL are now closed
Each year, Script Writers-Houston selects 10 original 10-minute plays by 10 Houston-area playwrights to be evaluated by industry professionals and fully produced in a high-quality festival celebrating bold, diverse Houston voices. The 10x10 Play Festival is Script Writers-Houston's signature event, and the 2026 festival will take the stage in August 2026.

Since 198, Script Writers-Houston has sponsored more than 1,000 stage play productions and public readings, including our annual 10X10 Showcase and museum plays. We're a community of stage and screenwriters who support and learn from each other while bringing shows to the Houston theatre scene every year.
