Together, we will bring history to life through compelling short plays, each inspired by the museum’s rich and impactful exhibits. This collaboration allows us to merge the power of theater with the legacy of the Buffalo Soldiers, paying tribute to African Americans' courage, resilience, and contributions throughout history. Since inception in 1985, Scriptwriters Houston has sponsored over 1,000 stage play productions and public readings. These include our annual 10 by 10 Showcase, the Museum/Room Plays, and the Tournament of Monologues. We are a group of stage and screenwriters that not only support and learn from each other, but also bring to the Houston theatre scene several unique shows every year! |
